Fado OFaia (ファードを楽しむ)

リスボンに行ったら、必ず立ち寄る場所、"O Faia"

ポルトガルのソウル・ミュージック　”ファード”を聴きながら、

ポルトガル料理を楽しむレストラン。

When we visit Lisbon, we always visit "O Faia" restaurant where

we can enjoy Portugal traditional music, "Fado" and Portugal traditional food.

ショーは、夜の9時、ファード・ギターの演奏で開始。

The show starts with Fado Guitar around 9:00PM.

その後、迫力ある歌の始まり。言葉はわからないのですが、切なさと情熱が心に響きます。

Following guitar play, singers sing Fado music.

Even though we don't understand the language,we can feel passion and sadness.

途中、休憩をとりながら、10時過ぎまで、続きます。The show continued to around 10:00PM, including two times break.

休憩の合間に、食事がサーブされます。During the break, food is served.


我が家の場合は、じっくりと音楽を聴きたいので、一番早い時間帯（１９：３０）を予約。ショー開始前に、前菜、メインを楽しみました。
Since we would like to enjoy Fado music,we reserved an early table, 19:30PM.Before the show starts, we finished to eat appetizer and main dishes.
前菜は、ロール白菜＆ムール貝。Our appetizer : Rolled Chinese Cabbage & Mussels. メインは、ダックとツナ。Maine dishes : Duck and Tuna.
そして、ショーの休憩の間にデザート。During break, we enjoyed dessert.

今年も、一番前の座席で、じっくりと鑑賞できて満足でした。
Our seats were located at the 1st row, just in front of musicians.We really enjoyed Fado again this year, too.
帰りのタクシーが来るまでは、ゆっくり、店内鑑賞。こんな時間もまた良し。
While we waited for a taxi to pick us up,we observed the walls in the restaurant.Times like this are good, too.
次回のリスボン訪問でも、また立ち寄りたいと思います。
We would like to visit "O Faia" next Lisbon visit, too.

Ofaiaも、今回で、数回目の我が家。いくつかアドバイスを。 すべての方に、思い出に残るファードになりますように〜。
１）ゆっくりと食事＆音楽を楽しみたい場合は、早めの時間帯のテーブルを予約。２）レストラン・マネージャーによると、席の割り当ては、予約が早い順。早めの予約を。

３）希望の席がある場合は、予約の際にしっかりと伝えること。

４）食事はいらないけど、音楽を〜という方には、11時スタートのショーあり。
We have visited "O Faia" for a couple of times already. Here is a little suggestion from us. We wish Fado music becomes a good memory of Lisbon night for everybody. 1) If you like to enjoy Food and Music individually, the early sitting time is better.2) According to the restaurant manager, the seating location is depends on when you booked. Early reservation has higher chance to get your favorite seats.3) If you have preferred seats, please tell them when you make a reservation.4) If you enjoy music only, another night show starts from 11:00PM.
