Portugal Taste (ポルトガルの味を我が家で)

キッチン・パントリーを片付けていると、

ポルトガルから買ってきた缶詰を発見。

Re-organizing of my kitchen pantry, I found two cans from Portugal.

うなぎのマリネ缶　と　鰯のトマト味マリネ。

ちょっとドキドキしながら、オープン！

Marinade Eels and Marinade Sardine with Tomato Sauce.

Opened them feeling both nervous and excited for dinner !

うわ！

Oops. !!

小さめのうなぎがいっぱいに入っています。ちょっと、グロテスク・・・
There are many small eels. Appearance is little grotesque...

鰯は、About sardine,予想通り。As I expected.

どちらもオリーブオイルに入っているので、オーブンで焼きました。驚くなかれ、うなぎが、あの小さな缶に、いっぱい。
Since they are filled in Olive Oil,I bake them in the Oven.I was surprised how many eels are in the can.
鰯の方は、薄くスライスしたトマトを鰯の上にのせ、缶のソースをその上にのせ、オーブンで。
I baked Sardine with sliced tomato and covered tomato sauce from the can.日本のうなぎの料理方法とは全く違う鰻とわかっていても、かなりビネガーが効いていて、不思議な味でした。我が家のテーブルに今後あがることはないかな。
Even though I understand the difference of cooking style between Japan and Portugal,it is mysterious taste for me to eat eels such like this. Probably, the marinaded eels will not see our table in future.

鰯のトマト缶は、なかなか良いね。次回のポルトガル旅で、買ってこよう〜。
On the other hand, marinade sardine with tomato sauce is pretty good.I will buy it when I visit Portugal next time.
