U - Pick (ユーピック) - 4

８月下旬に入り、

「そろそろ、クラブアップルの時期だね」

「いつ行く？」

「じゃあ、明日！」

翌朝、朝早く、出かけた先は、今年も、Libby & Son U-Picks.

At the end of August,

my partner and I are chatting..

"It is the season of crabapple !?"

"When will we go ?"

"OK! tomorrow !!"

Next morning, we get up early and go to Libby & Son U-Picks.

まずは、クラブアップル採りの前に、ピーチ狩り。

見た目は、熟して見えるのだが、

触ってみると、かなり固い。

慎重に見極めて、いくつか収穫。

Before harvesting crabapple,

we stop at Peach trees.

While it seems ready to harvest at first glance,

they are still very hard.

We spent a lot of time to find,

and harvest ripe peaches.

そして次は、お目当ての Dorgo Crab Apples.

この農園には、大きな木が２本。

でも、この渋〜いりんご、

収穫する方にあったことなく、この日も、私達だけ。

動かなくても、収穫が簡単にできる。

Then we move to our favorite Dorgo Crab Apple trees.

Among over 40 acres,

Dorgo Crab Apple trees are only two.

Since this apple is very bitter,

many people have no interest.

Indeed, only we are there.

The tree have a lots of mature apples.

So, we don't need to any steps to harvest them.

１時間もしないうちに・・・

Less than 1 hour...

まだまだ採り足りないような気分だが、会計へ。その結果は、、、
りんご 11.5 kg
ピーチ 2.5 kgいやはや、ユーピックの弱点、採り始めると、終わりがない！


We feel we want to enjoy more...but we decide to go to pay.The result is ....Apple 25.5 lbsPeach 5.5 lbs
Opps...No doubt U-pick is a danger to harvest too much !!
