Thinking of mother (母を想いながら)

久しぶりに父、姉夫婦、姪、私で家族一緒の夕ご飯。

出かけた先は、母のお気に入りだったうなぎ屋さん、「丸忠」さん。

母を皆で想いながら・・・

One evening, my father, my sister's family and I had a dinner together.

The restaurant was my mother's favorite restaurant Unagi (ell) ya, "Maruchu."

We were thinking of her and talking about her a lot.

We miss her.

日本を旅立つ朝、羽田空港で朝ごはん。何を食べようかなあ〜と歩いていると、母の大好きだった「親子丼」が。親子丼、前回食べたのは、いつだっただろう。もしかすると、高校時代、母の作ってくれた「親子丼」のお弁当だったりするかも !?
Just before departing from Haneda,I was looking for my breakfast.In front of me, "Oyako don (Chiken and egg over the rice bowl)" appeared.Oyako don was one of my mother's favorite dishes.I didn't remember when I ate it last time.Maybe ... my mother made it for a lunch box during my high school.次回の日本帰省は、母の一周忌。

あっという間だったな。

Next trip to Japan will be for my mother's first memorial ceremony.

I feel it is too fast to past one year.
