Puerto Rican Pig Roast (プエルトリコ流、豚のロースト)

ここは、メインのプエルトリコ？
今年も、そんな錯覚に陥る場所へ。

90キロを超える豚の丸焼き。
着いたら、丁度さばき始めていました。

We visit the place where
we wonder .... is this Puerto Rico in Maine ?

This year's Pig is over 200 Lbs.
When arriving there,
he just starts cutting.



そして、一緒に焼かれた７羽のチキン。
プエルトリコのBBQでは、キッチンにいるのは、男性だけ。
かなり迫力がある場所です。

Also 7 chickens were baked.
Somehow, Only men are in the kitchen for Puerto Rican BBQ.
I feel the power in the kitchen.



今年は、テントのてっぺんに、
プエルトリコの旗が飾られていました。
参加者も年々、
プエルトリコ出身の人が多くなってきているような気がするな。笑

This year, there is a flag of "Puerto Rico" on the top of the tent.
Indeed, we recognize
that more and more Puerto Ricans join this party year by year. :-)
