Update ... Last snow on 4/26 was in 1887

午後2時に歯医者さんの予約あり。
雪の降り続けるなか、運転開始。
だが、春の重たい雪は滑りやすい！
角を曲がる度に、ふらふらと。
前方から向かってくる威勢のよいトラックは、
右に左に…スリップしています。
危ない、危ない！
3分ほどのドライブで家に戻ることに。

We had an dental appointment at 2:00PM.
So, we started driving in strongly falling snow.
However, the spring snow is very heavy and wet.
Easy to slip !!
When we turned every corner, our car slipped.
Also on the other side of the road, there is a truck.
The truck is continuously slipping right to left.
Dangerous !!
We decided to return to our home after 3 minutes drive.

結局、雪は午後3時ぐらいまで降り続き、
積雪は5センチほど。
ニュースによれば、
前回、４月２６日に雪が降ったのは、
1887年にポートランドにてとの事。
いやはや、驚きの春の雪ストーム！

The snow finally stop at 3:00PM.
The accumulation is 2 inches.
According to the News,
the previous snow on 4/26 was recorded
in 1887 at Portland.
Wow !
What a surprised Spring Snow Storm it was !!
