Manhattan Relay - 2 （マンハッタンリレー - 2 ）

一回のスイムを終えるたび、ボートのキャプテンが体に真水のシャワー。
いや〜、非常に気持ちよい！

When each swimmer finishes her/his swim turn, our boat captain gives the swimmer a fresh shower !
It is a very good feeling.

２巡めからは、ひとり３０分の泳ぎ。
つまり、１時間３０分後に自分の番がまたくる。
その間には、着替え、記録とり、次ぎの泳者の水路をキャプテンと相談したり忙しい。もちろん、栄養補給＋水分補給もその一部。
そして、少しでも時間があれば、船の後方から、泳いでいるスイマーに応援を送っていた。泳いでいるほうとしては、その姿がとても嬉しい。
その忙しさが、４人をチームとして、いっそう強く固めたと感じる。

From the second rotation of swimming, each swim is only 30 minutes.
So, after 90 minutes later, the swimmer needs to swim again.
During this time, we have to change swimsuits, record times, water temp and winds etc, and discuss the route for the next swimmer. Off course, eating food and drinking water are also important. When we have spare time, members gaze at the swimmer from the boat. As a swimmer, this cheering is very strong support.
I feel that these engagements make our teamwork stronger and we learn how to help each other.


（雑談）
シャワーのサービス、すごいなあ〜と皆で感心していた。
が、今思うと、もしかして、あの川の水をボートに持ち込みたくない？と感じたり。
実際、今回私が着用した水着３着は、ゴミ箱行きとなった・・・。

(Trivia)
Every teammate enjoys the fresh water shower after each swim, and everybody loves this service !
However, now I am thinking.... since our boat is very clean and well maintained, our captain may not want to bring the Manhattan's rivers' water into his boat !?
Indeed, I have to throw away my three swimsuits that I wore at the event.
