Crowds in Belem (ベレンの雑踏)

雑踏を避けたはずのベレンだったのだが、どこも、長蛇の列・・・。

While we expect Belem would not not be crowded...
Belem is packed with people.
A long line is every place.

遅めのランチをたべようと、バッフェへ。
午後２時をすぎたというのに、人の列。

Around 2:00PM at a buffet for lunch...

ジェロニモス修道院の教会では、カメラを抱えた観光客がぎっしり。

In the church at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos,
sightseeing people are taking pictures.

発見のモニュメントの広場では、旗をかかげたツアーの人々。

At Momunet to the Discoveries, there are many tours with guides waving flags.

ベレンの塔では、某国の方々のレディパワーに圧倒。
なんと、割り込みをされたりもしました。

Lady-power from a country is very strong.
They cut in front of everybody at Torre de Belem.

おっと、マクドナルド発見！

Opps.. It is McDonalds!

のぞいてみれば、学生たちでいっぱい。
いやはや．．．

Looking into the McDonalds, it is full of students.
Whewwww...

でも、こんな大きな樹の下で、ランチを食べている地元学生達。
４月の日曜日、おだやかな光景です。

However, there are many students are having lunch under these big trees.
One Sunday in April, It is a really peaceful scene.


(雑談）
地元のタクシーの方の話によると、マクドナルドとスターバックス。
リスボン周辺では、話題のスポットとか。
なお、マクドナルドのドライブスルー、タクシードライバーにとり、車から降りずにランチが買えるという事でかなり評判高との事。

According to a taxi driver, around Lisbon, McDonalds and Starbucks are hot spots.
Indeed, the system of "Drive-thru" at McDonalds is great for taxi drivers since they do not need to get out of the car. Many taxi drivers love McDonald's drive-thru.
